Our Bee Day event occurs outdoors in our covered pavilion. It includes a live bee display, a guided/educational walk through the woods to our apiary, honey tasting, a hands-on pollination activity for kids, and additional seasonal activities.
Bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it! We will provide water and lemonade.
Kids 4 & under are free!
Weather Policy
Rain can put a bit of a damper on Bee Day! Since our bees typically stay inside their hives during rainy weather, we wouldn’t be able to offer the full experience—including observing the bees outside the hive and using our observation hive. And rain makes our outdoor activities, like the educational walk through the woods to our bee yard, much less enjoyable.
If weather requires us to cancel, we’ll let you know by email 12-24-hrs in advance, and your ticket can be used for a future Bee Day.
