This experience is perfect for anyone curious about honey bees and looking to learn more! Our Bee Day event occurs outdoors in our covered pavilion. It includes a live bee display, a guided walk through the woods to our apiary, honey tasting, a hands-on pollination activity for kids, and a live drone bee race!
Add on a hive inspection
On our Bee Days, guests have the option to add on a hive inspection experience, which includes suiting up, seeing inside a hive, and holding a frame of live bees! Spaces are limited.
Bee Day Details
Our Bee Days are drop-in experiences
Our Bee Days run from 11am-2pm. We will have a short (10min) educational presentation at 12pm, followed by a walk to the apiary for those who are interested. Our drone race will begin at 1pm.
Stay for as long as you would like!
Bring your own picnic
Feel free to bring your own picnic lunch and make a day of it! We will provide water and lemonade.
Add on a hive inspection
We will have limited spaces available for hive inspections, from 10am-11am and from 2pm-3pm on Bee Days. We will provide suits and gloves for guests to wear during the inspection. Kids, 6 years and older, are welcome on hive inspections but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
